About The Harold DuLong Scholarship Fund
The Harold DuLong Memorial Scholarships are awarded each year to two Burlington High School graduating seniors who have demonstrated outstanding merit and plan to pursue a career in business. These awards are given in memory of Harold DuLong, former President of the Burlington Business Round Table (BBRT), now the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.
Harold was an attorney and a partner at Riemer & Braunstein LLP from 1973 until his untimely death in May 2004, as a result of a bicycling accident in Italy. Harold’s dedication to the BBRT was outstanding; He sponsored and supported many projects and programs, in addition to introducing a host of new members to the organization. A graduate of Burlington High School, he was committed to youth and education. Harold worked on behalf of the Town of Burlington and the business community, and had a unique talent for bringing people of different opinions to consensus.
The Harold DuLong Memorial Scholarship Fund is made possible through the contributions of BBRT/BACC members who established the fund to honor this unforgettable man.
