Does my organization need to be in Burlington in order to join the BACC?

Absolutely not. While a majority of our members are located within a 15-mile radius, member companies looking to do business or make connections in the area, also hail from other states.

What is the cost to join the BACC?

Our annual membership dues structure is dependent on your organization’s type and size. Our rates are extremely reasonable with discounted rates for sole owners, non-profit/charitable, educational institutions etc. To determine the specific rate for your organization, please complete a very brief, no-commitment application here.

Are all employees of my company eligible to receive BACC member benefits?

Yes, as long as they are an employee of the organization and location(s) listed in your BACC member account. BACC members receive discounted rates at most events and registration is simple using our secure, online Members-only Information Center. Companies offering BACC member discounts and specials, reserve the right to ask for some proof of employment with a BACC member (a company badge or business card will usually suffice).

What types of events does the BACC offer?

Last year the BACC held over 150 events including networking, educational, training, celebration and community-based events. We know that our members are busy. That’s why we offer events from early morning to lunch or evenings in order to give all members an opportunity to attend and participate. Our signature events include the Spring Soiree, the BACC Golf Tournament, The Harold Dulong Scholarship Luncheon, The Taste of Burlington, the BACC Annual Meeting and the Black Tie Gala Benefit.

Are there ways I can promote my business to other members?

We offer many options for members to showcase their business. These include hosting an event at your location, posting specials, news and member-to-member discounts, advertising on the BACC website and more. The BACC is committed to encouraging members and non-members alike, to “Stand BACC” and do business with our members.

Are there opportunities to join committees or are they all full?

We encourage all members to get involved and make the most of their membership. One of the best ways to do that is by joining a group or committee. We ask that anyone wanting to get involved with a committee, reach out to the Committee Chair, attend a meeting and get a feel for the benefits and requirements. There are many opportunities to participate and we welcome all that want to contribute their unique skill-sets and experience.

My company belongs to another Chamber, can we join the BACC as well?

Absolutely! Like clients and customers, no two Chambers are exactly alike. The BACC is focused on providing REAL value for our members. Many of our members belong to several Chambers and Business Organizations and have realized the BACC offers a unique experience and opportunities.
